NIFT Stage 2 Scorecard & Merit List Details
The final scorecard released by NTA includes important information for each applicant. The scorecard includes important information such as applicant’s name, roll number, date of birth, application number, course applied for, category details, total marks obtained, section-wise marks, qualifying status, category rank and common merit rank . The final merit list has been prepared by combining the performances of candidates across different stages of the entrance examination process according to the specified weightage for each programme. For B.Des programme the weightage distribution is: Creative Ability Test (CAT) carries 50%, General Ability Test (GAT) carries 30%, and Situation Test carries 20% . For M.Des programme, CAT has 40% weightage, GAT has 30%, and Personal Interview carries 30%. For B.FTech programme, admission is based only on GAT scores. The MFM and M.FTech programmes give 70% weightage to GAT and 30% to Personal Interview .

Documents Required for NIFT Counselling 2026
The applicants participating in the NIFT counselling process must keep the following documents ready for verification Class 10 marksheet and certificate as proof of date of birth, Class 12 marksheet and certificate for UG programme admission, Bachelor’s degree certificate for PG programme admission, NIFT 2026 scorecard and rank letter, Category certificate (SC/ST/OBC-NCL/EWS/PwD) if applicable, Valid photo ID proof (Aadhar Card, Passport, Voter ID, or Driving License), Passport-size photographs (same as uploaded in application form) and Medical fitness certificate from a registered medical practitioner.
