Who Can Apply? Education and Age Criteria
- Medical Officer (UHWC): MBBS Degree awarded by a University or Institution recognised by UGC for the purpose of its grants. The course must have been approved by the Medical Council of India/NMC. Should have registered in Tamil Nadu Medical Council. Upper Age Limit: Less than 40 years.
- Health Inspector Gr.II (UHWC & MTM): Must have passed Plus Two with Biology or Botany and Zoology. Must have passed Tamil Language as a subject at SSLC level. Must possess two-year Multipurpose Health Worker (Male)/Inspector/Sanitary Inspector Course Training Certificate from a recognized private institution/Trust/Universities/Deemed Universities including Gandhigram Rural Institute, or Training Course Certificate granted by the Directorate of Public Health and Preventive Medicine. Upper Age Limit: Less than 35 years for UHWC, Less than 50 years for MTM.
- Staff Nurse (UHWC): Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery (DGNM) or B.Sc. Nursing from an institution recognised by the Indian Nursing Council. Upper Age Limit: Less than 50 years.
- ULB-UHN: Should have passed Higher Secondary School Examination and Two-year ANM course from DPH approved institutions. Upper Age Limit: Less than 35 years.
- Mid Level Health Provider (MLHP): Diploma in GNM or B.Sc. (Nursing) from Government or Government-approved private nursing colleges recognised by the Indian Nursing Council. Upper Age Limit: Less than 50 years.
